Superior PIMA is a 2-ply, 50 weight cotton thread that’s a fantastic choice for piecing, quilting, and general sewing.

It is made from American-grown pima cotton and spools fit standard sewing machine spindles.

From the factory, all domestic machines are pre-set for 50-weight threads, which includes PIMA. For home machines, we recommend a Topstitch #80/12 needle and 2.0 to 3.0 tension.
